Head Researcher

MARTA STEFANIUK has an innate ability to investigate locations and find meaning in their physical and metaphysical details. Discovering mysteries, separating historic accuracies from myth and urban legend, finding artifacts that still exist, then inviting others to join the hunt is her preferred way to share history with the world.

Marta has curated museum and gallery shows and has two decades of professional experience in the visual arts, design, content production and photography. Her work has been published in numerous books and magazines.

As a graduate of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Anthropology, Marta's experience in research began while working as a Creative Director and Producer in the advertising world in New York, Chicago, and Detroit. Her skills were more finely honed in Austin, Texas, while doing location scouting and location managing for the tv and film industries.
